Angry I’m A Celeb fans demand answers from Ant and Dec after Olivia Attwood exit

Fans of former Love Island star Olivia Attwood have been left fuming at presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly after they failed to explain her exit from I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The Geordie duo told viewers that Olivia wouldn't be returning to the hit ITV show during Monday night's episode (November 7).

At the start of the show, Dec said: "You may have seen that unfortunately Olivia Attwood has left the jungle for medical reasons and sadly won't be returning."

Ant then added: "She does feature in tonight's show, which was filmed before she had to leave.

"We're very sad to see her go and we wish her well."

But due to the lack of information surrounding Olivia's abrupt departure, fans still think more information could have been provided and looked to Ant and Dec for answers.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Me waiting for Ant and Dec to tell us the REAL reason Olivia Atwood left the jungle."

Another asked: "What happened to Olivia Attwood??? Is she okay. I actually liked her."

Meanwhile a third concerned viewer wrote: "Will they show us why Olivia left?"

Following her exit from the show, a spokesperson took to Olivia's Instagram to release a statement.

The message read: "To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement.

"She dreamed of doing I'm A Celebrity for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would).

"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short."

The spokesperson also added that the kind messages that Olivia gained from her legion of fans were well received.

They continued: "Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.

"You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year."

The spokesperson finished off by writing: "Ps. Who’s going to roast Matt Hancock now??"

Although she only appeared in the jungle for one day, Olivia will still get paid her I'm A Celeb fee which is reportedly between £100k to £125k.

Talking about her leaving the show, a TV source said: "Olivia wanted to continue and because it was the medical team's decision she has done nothing wrong and so should be in line to get paid.
