Karen Gillan’s Nebula has taken a wild ride through the Guardians of the Galaxy movies from villain to sympathetic (if still standoffish) anti-hero.
She’ll be back for Avengers: Infinity War, and in her latest evolution, Nebula will actually be getting a friend of her very own.
“I know who her new BFF is, and I can’t tell you,” Gillan told Fandango.
“I can’t, but I promise you it’s brilliant and unexpected, and just so good.”
We’ll start the bidding with the MCU’s other unhappy sibling, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. Do we have a Black Widow? Scarlett Witch? Spider-Man?

Right now the idea of Thanos’s emotionally remote cyborg daughter getting pally with anyone is so incongruous, we almost don’t care who it is.
Nebula is expected to show up in Infinity War on the trail of Thanos, against whom she has sworn revenge.
“She’s on a clear mission, as everybody is, to deal with someone with a glove, and I think that’s the most important issue,” said Gillan. “I think people are grouping together to take care of this task.”

The Doctor Who actress will be joined by a huge cast of Avengers, Guardians and other MCU heroes in Infinity War, including Robert Downey Jr, Josh Brolin, Zoe Saldana, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira and Paul Rudd.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released in the UK on April 27, 2018, and in the US on May 4, 2018. Watch a trailer for the MCU’s next movie, Thor: Ragnarok, right here:
