BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty was notably missing from the BBC studio during Friday's (October 14) instalment of the morning show.
The 47-year-old typically presents alongside Charlie Stayt from Thursday to Saturday every week, with temporary presenters filling in on Sunday's.
However, Naga was absent from the red sofa this morning as Nina Warhurst filled the spot alongside the TV Veteran.
Nina's unusual presence on the breakfast show didn't go unnoticed by viewers as many took to social media to comment on the matter.
"Great to see the amazing @NinaWarhurst on #BBCBreakfast this morning," gushed one user.
While another wrote: "@NinaWarhurst good morning Nina."
Another questioned: "Where is Naga?? #BBCBreakfast."
While someone else commented on the known speculation about tension between Charlie and Naga, posing the question: "Is it my imagination or does it seem a bit warmer in the #BBCBreakfast studio this morning?"
The relationship between the regular co-hosts is often debated amongst viewers, with many picking up on their dynamic in the studio being a rather hostile one.
Just last week, the 60-year-old broadcaster shut down the idea that he could ever be "good friends" with Naga.
While looking over the newspaper headlines of the day, the former BBC World News presenter discovered an article that claimed you need just over 2,000 minutes with someone to become a close pal.
Quizzing Charlie, she asked: "So, how many hours do you think it takes to become a good friend?"
"Years, probably," Charlie guessed as Naga replied: "No, no!"
