Britain's Got Talent's Amanda Holden reveals daughter Hollie, 7, forced her to apologise after she said 'the S word' on TV

BRITAIN'S Got Talent judge Amanda Holden admitted her daughters gave her a serious telling off after she dropped the "S word" on this week's show.

The telly star, 48, had an slip of the tongue when she appeared on Stephen Mulhern's spin off show on Wednesday night.

It came after she sparked outrage for dropping the F-bomb during Monday night's live semi-final.

And it wasn't only viewers who were unimpressed with Amanda, as she admitted daughter Hollie, seven, gave her a piece of her mind when she got home.

She told The Sun: "Hollie said, 'Mummy, did you say the F-word?' and I said, 'No, Hollie, Mummy didn't really'.

"Then she said, 'But you definitely said the S-word on Stephen Mulhern's show, didn't you?'

"And I had to just say, 'Yes, sorry about that'. Me and Chris really do try not to swear at home."

The blunder happened as Amanda played a game called Tip of the Tongue on the spin-off show, which involved each judge picking a word beginning with a particular letter to describe something Stephen read out.

When he asked them to describe his show, beginning with the letter 's', Amanda jumped straight in and said: "S**T!"

Alesha Dixon gasped and cried "Amanda!" while head judge Simon Cowell looked unimpressed.

Their reaction led Amanda to putting her head in her hands before placing her hands together as if she was waiting to be handcuffed.

On Monday night, she said the F word after being brought on stage during spooky magic act, The Haunting.

After making it back to her seat in one piece, Amanda issued an apology.

She said: "I really want to apologise for saying a terrible word. I know my kids are watching so I apologise for that. I can honestly say I feel terrified."
