Celebrity Big Brother house revealed as Emma Willis shares first look

A first look at the Celebrity Big Brother house has been revealed after host Emma Willis posted an image of herself in the new house.

The house, which is based at Elstree Studios, usually gets a makeover before a new series, and is often filled with some rather interesting features, such as egg chairs, somewhat gaudy mirrors and, as always, a hot tub in the heavily turfed garden.

In a picture posted on Instagram , Emma took a photograph of herself where she lay on a table of some kind, which was marbled, grey and white.

On the table were small succulents and a stony vase filled with flowers, along with a rather odd statuette of an orange Bassett Hound, which had its ears pointing upwards as if it is flying through the air.

Emma smiled and included the cation: "Guess where I am…!!! 1 week to go.."

She also tagged @bbuk on the post, meaning there was no mistaking where she was taking her photograph.

So far there have been few details released about the new house, as well as the housemates who may be going in, but there have been plenty of rumours surrounding this.

Some of the names swirling around in the rumour mill include TOWIE’s Dan Osborne, Love Island’s Gabby Allen , sister of the Meghan Markle , Samantha, Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves, and former TV presenter John Leslie.

Ryan Thomas, the former Coronation Street actor, has also been rumoured to be going in, however there was speculation "he did not want to enter the house due to rumoured housemate Dan having dated his ex-girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh."

However, these rumours were apparently rubbished, with a source telling The Sun: "He was playing hardball and saying it was either Dan or him, but Celebrity Big Brother bosses stood firm and he eventually backed down. Now they’re both doing it."

Back on the show, along with host Emma, will be Rylan Clark-Neal hosting the spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, which airs after each show.

The launch of Celebrity Big Brother will air on Channel 5 at 9pm on Thursday 16 August.
