Celebrity Big Brother's Jermaine Pennant DOESN'T think housemates need to see Roxanne Pallett and Ryan Thomas clip

Jermaine Pennant might have become the latest Celebrity Big Brother housemate to get the boot, but there’s still one topic of conversation that’s overriding everything. Yes, we are of course talking about Roxanne Pallett.

Even Emma Willis admitted that Jermaine’s exit had been somewhat overshadowed by the whole thing, with his exit interview happening no less than an hour after the host’s one-on-one with the former Emmerdale star.

The professional footballer was shown the now-infamous ‘punch’ footage during his time in the CBB hot seat on Monday night (September 3) and, much like Ben Jardine, he revealed that he felt a little “mugged off”.

While Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark-Neal has called for housemates on the inside to be shown the clip, Jermaine seems to be against that idea.

“I think the housemates don’t need to be shown the video,” he told Digital Spy and other media following his exit.

Explaining that housemates “know” what happened, Jermaine added: “Ryan [Thomas] is still in the house, and that speaks volumes in itself.

“If anyone did any wrong, Big Brother would take that seriously.”

Having only left the CBB house late last night, Jermaine revealed that he hasn’t had a chance to watch Roxanne’s widely discussed apology interview.

“I don’t know what she’s actually said… If she’s apologised, I guess that’s all she can do,” he said.

It’s no secret that Jermaine was quite supportive of Roxanne during her time on the show, but he hinted that he would be waiting for her to reach out. “If she wants to contact me, I’m not going to shun her,” he revealed.

Meanwhile, Ben has called Roxanne “disgraceful” for her actions.

“Ryan is a genuine guy and I believe him all day long,” the former Married at First Sight contestant said.

“I believed him when I hugged him in the pool and I looked into his eyes and saw what it did to him. I knew immediately that I’d been mugged off.”

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight on Channel 5.
