Corrie marriage ‘set to end in death’ as Gary Windass finally ‘exposed’

Coronation Street 's Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) and Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) may not live through much of their marriage as they tie the knot later this year.

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Sarah and Adam will exchange vows later this year after he proposed to her at Christmas.

Pictures have shown a sneak peek of the pair at their wedding ceremony, which was filmed in Manchester and is set to air later this year.

However, it looks like their happiness will be short-lived, as Sarah's ex Gary Windass (Mikey North) is always lurking around the corner.

Soap stats from Tombola, which have been shared with Daily Star Online, have shown that Coronation Street is the soap with the highest number of marriages ending in death out of the top three soaps.

The soap has had a total of 105 marriages, meaning that a third of the marriages in Weatherfield have ended in death.
