Curtis Pritchard has brought filming for Celebs Go Dating to a halt after testing positive for coronavirus – just days after his grandma died.
The former Love Island star, whose brother AJ Pritchard is currently in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! castle, is said to have received a positive Covid-19 test result despite not showing any symptoms.
According to reports, Curtis also isolated for two weeks before going into the show to make sure there was minimal risk.
‘It’s just terrible luck for Curtis,’ a source said. ‘He followed all the rules by the letter of the law, quarantined for two weeks and kept himself to himself.

‘And he still managed to somehow pick up this virus.’
The insider continued to The Sun: ‘He is absolutely fine, has no symptoms and feels fit as a fiddle. But it’s put the brakes on the whole show until he gets the all-clear and everyone else continues to test negative.’
Curtis’ positive test result comes just weeks after his brother AJ tested positive ahead of the launch of I’m A Celebrity – throwing his place on the show into jeopardy.
‘Yes I did have a positive coronavirus test early into my isolation,’ AJ told Metro.co.uk at the time.
‘I’m very happy to report that I’ve had two tests recently and they have both come back very negative which means I’m 100% going into the jungle.
‘I’m very excited about that. It’s a big relief for everybody. I just want to thank ITV for all their stringent measures. The whole point of us going into lockdown and isolating is just in case this does happen.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted Curtis’ rep for comment.
