Death in Paradise series 11 is well underway with DI Neville Parker (played by Ralf Little) taking on a new investigation each week. As with every episode of the BBC comedy-drama will also welcome a new group of faces to the cast. Here’s everything there is to know about the stars of Death in Paradise season 11, episode three.

In Death in Paradise season 11, episode three, the police force will find a skydiver who has been murdered in mid-air.

According to the synopsis, the team then has to go through the “cut-throat world of social media” to try and get to the bottom of what really happened.

However, they must also try and get acquainted with the crime scene itself which is unfortunate for Neville who is afraid of everything.

But prior to the episode being released, the cast and crew remained tight-lipped about the possibility of the actors doing a real skydive.

When speaking to press, including Express.co.uk, creator Tim Key explained how issues such as the pandemic and weather conditions initially stopped the idea of filming in the skies in its tracks.

“With the skydiving episode, there was a way of doing it without doing the skydiving but we really wanted to do the skydiving.

“At the very last minute, everything fell into place and we got this incredible footage.

“It’s a great example of us pushing as hard as we can to surprise people and all I will say is that the entire sequence is very true to Neville.”

Who are the guest stars in Death in Paradise season 11, episode 3?

Alessa Park – Jessica Clark

Taking on the role of suspect Alessa Park is actress Jessica Clark who has been acting since 2009.

She has had minor roles in Silent Witness, Doctors, Casualty and Call the Midwife.

Her biggest part to date has been as Palatine in Netflix’s historical drama Versailles.

Most recently though, Clark has been Margaret Lombardi in Call the Midwife and Margot Sebright Saunders in Channel 5’s All Creatures Great and Small.

Chris Darlow – William Gaminara

Chris Darlow is the pilot of the plane which sees someone murdered during a skydive.

He is portrayed by actor William Gaminara who is best known for starring as pathologist Professor Leo Dalton in BBC drama Silent Witness for 11 years.

Since leaving the show in 2013, Gaminara has been in various other television series.

Some of these include Electric Dreams, The Tunnel, The Alienist, Becca’s Bunch, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and The Trial of Christine Keeler.

Katie Kellar – Lucy Griffiths

Another murder suspect in episode three is Katie Kellar who is played by actress Lucy Griffiths.

She was Lady Marian in the BBC drama Robin Hood and Eric Northman’s vampire “sister” in HBO horror series True Blood.

Griffiths was also Emily Woodrow in AMC supernatural drama Preacher.
