EastEnders' Kacey Ainsworth 'finds love after splitting from husband'

Former EastEnders actress Kacey Ainsworth has reportedly found love following split from her husband Darren Hales after 18 years of marriage.

The Little Mo actress, 54, and Darren are said to have quietly called time on their romance during lockdown, after being together since 2005.

According to The Sun, Kacey has sparked up a romance with fellow actor Liam after they met while filming the 2020 series Then and Now.

Back in 2021, Kacey penned a sweet tribute to Liam as he celebrated his 50th birthday.

‘So Our Liam is 50’ she penned on Instagram.

‘What a blast of a party.. so many thanks on behalf of us all .. to Adam and Team @fredshopest you were amazing.’

The actress recently addressed whether she plans to return to Walford, 17 years after her exit.

‘It’s always the same thing, it’s a never say never’ she said during her sit-down on Loose Women.

The star went on: ‘I literally don’t have any time at the moment.’

When asked whether or not ‘people still shout Little Mo at you in the street?’ Kacey replied: ‘They sometimes do […] It’s amazing when they say, “I watched you when I was younger.”’

Little Mo was last seen on Albert Square back in 2006, before leaving for Barnstaple with son Freddie (played by Bobby Brazier).

Since her time on the BBC soap, Kacey has appeared in a number of shows, most notably the ITV crime series Grantchester, in the role of Cathy Keating, as well as several stage productions.

Not too long ago, EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw hinted at a return for Little Mo amid a ‘big year for the Slaters’.

‘Freddie’s in the show, so there is every chance that Little Mo could pop back to Walford,’ he told the Loose Women panel in February.
