EastEnders’ Mel Owen issues ‘scumbag’ Keanu chilling threat amid death fears

EastEnders' Keanu Taylor should watch his back as Mel Owen is out to get him, ahead of his huge exit from the BBC soap.

There's rumours he might be killed off, as actor Danny Walters vacates the show amid explosive Christmas scenes.

His affair with Sharon Mitchell, and the fact he is the father of her unborn baby, is about to be exposed to Sharon's husband Phil, and Keanu's pregnant partner Louise who is Sharon's stepdaughter.

Ahead of stunts and showdowns in the Christmas episodes, Keanu discovered in Monday's visit to Walford that Mel knew the truth about the affair and the baby.

He confronted her unaware she has been blackmailing Sharon for weeks, while trying to convince Louise and her mum Lisa to leave Walford and go to Portugal with her for good.

As he tried to get out of the Portugal move yet again, Lisa warned him of a "bloodbath" headed for the Mitchell family.

It's then that he fully realised how much Mel knew and could expose.

As he sought her out he tried to downplay anything she thought she had on him, she called his bluff.

Mel said: "Please, have some dignity at least. Know when you're beat. It could be a lot worse and it will be if you don’t tell Sharon to behave."

She added: "Let's stop playing games," before telling him he should be grateful to have an escape plan.

As Keanu challenged her about him joining them in Portugal, she claimed Louise would soon find out the truth about his betratal.

Mel said of wanting him there: "I don’t, you could go to hell for all I care but unfortunately you come as part of the package."

She went on to call him a "lying scumbag" stating Louise would figure out the betrayal soon enough.

Viewers are convinced Mel will have something to do with his looming exit from the show, ahead of his fling with Sharon finally coming to light.

EastEnders airs Mondays and Fridays at 8pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
