GEORGE Knight received a rude awakening when Phil Mitchell let him know his missing wife Rose was lying to him all along.
But tonight in EastEnders, his daughter Gina (played by Francesca Henry) is having a particularly hard time coping with the news.
Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) was told the truth about her mother Rose in recent scenes aired on BBC One and was advised to keep schtum around her sister.
But during last night's trip to Albert Square, Anna struggled to keep the truth from Gina, despite her insisting she didn't want to hear it.
Tonight, Gina backtracks completely and decides she's ready to hear the truth about Rose but a worried Anna, knowing how she sensitive her sister can be, covers and insists it's nothing.
Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) eventually intervenes as Gina senses her sister's deception.

Unlike Anna, the Vic landlady believes Gina has the right to know what is truly going on.
But the truth is too hard for Gina to bear and she heads to Peggy's to drink herself into oblivion.
Her father George (Colin Salmon) is later thrown into a panic when he learns that Gina knows the truth about Rose.
Once home, George consoles his two daughters but things go from bad to worse as he reveals the truth about what happened all those years ago.

While George found out Rose lied about her true identity before walking out on their family nine years ago, he has no clue that she's actually one of Walford's biggest villainesses.
As viewers of the London-based program recently found out, Rose Knight is nothing but Cindy Beale's alias.
Presumed to have died in childbirth while she was serving time in prison, Cindy Beale was actually taken into witness protection after her former cellmate threatened her life.
Cindy was seen living in France… alongside her former husband Ian and their son Peter.
