Ed Sheeran plans luxury family trip to Nigeria with wife Cherry and daughter Lyra after becoming huge fan of the culture

ED Sheeran is planning a luxury family trip to Nigeria with wife Cherry and daughter Lyra after becoming huge fan of the culture.

It comes after the superstar singer's epic single Peru with Afrobeats king Fireboy DML is heading for the number one spot.

Now Ed, 30, can't wait to go there with Cherry and little Lyra, one.

A source told The Sun: "Ed is so excited about taking his family to Nigeria.

"He absolutely loves West Africa, he's already been to Ghana and loved it.

He can't wait to head to neighbouring Nigeria, as he has embraced the culture, food and music, and now he wants Cherry and his daughter Lyra to experience the good vibes.

"Ed has been showing off his fancy two-step dance moves in his latest video with Nigerian hit-maker Fireboy DML too, and everyone already loves him out there.

"He won't be short of a chaperone to show him around either as Fireboy DML, as well as superstar Davido, will be ready to take him and his family to the best spots."

Ed's team confirmed his plans.

His new music collaboration has already sent fans into a frenzy with many flocking to Twitter to comment on catchy dancefloor hit Peru, which is out now.
