Liam Fox has been playing the role of Dan Spencer in Emmerdale for the past 10 years.
Branded 'Desperate Dan' when he first starred in the ITV soap, viewershave seen him marry three times – with one of them void due to his spouse being a bigamist.
Liam was originally contracted for just eight episodes, but that quickly turned into 800, and he has fast become a firm favourite among viewers.
When he was first signed up to the dramatic soap in 2011, he was married to another famous soap star, Nicole Barber-Lane who used to play Myra McQueen in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.

In her role as Myra, saw Nicole play the head of Hollyoaks' most famous and fiery family but she quit the soap in 2019.
Liam and Nicole have two children together but sadly after 16 years of marriage, the pair divorced in 2015.
In a joint statement released at the time, they said: "It is with much sadness that we confirm the end of our marriage, though our family unit remains strong.

Hoever, the couple remain civil since going their separate ways.
Since Liam split from his first wife, he has found love once more.
He found love with somebody he once knew, an ex-girlfriend in fact.
Joanna Hudson dated the Emmerdale actor when they went to Salford Uni together.

Liam is now married to Jo, who he exchanged vowels with in 2020.
The happy couple first met while attending Salford University 28 years ago.
Following his divorce, Liam and Joanna became romantically involved again in 2017.
Their wedding took place at Peckforton Castle and was attended by several Emmerdale stars, including Bob Hope actor Tony Audenshaw and James Hooton who plays Sam Dingle.
