Emmerdale reveals how Caleb knows Kim murdered Frank in shocking twist

When Caleb Milligan’s (William Ash) connection to Frank Tate was revealed in a recent episode of Emmerdale, we were left wondering whether he knew about his dad’s death and if so, how.

The iconic character died of a heart attack back in the 90s. He slowly suffered while Kim (Claire King) watched over him, who then went on to successfully steal a lot of his money – one of the reasons why she owns Home Farm today.

Because there was no indication Caleb even existed until last December, when he revealed his plan to destroy Home Farm and Kim because of what she did to his dad, we were wondering how he had discovered this information.

In Thursday’s (June 8) edition of the ITV soap, Caleb confessed absolutely everything. He told Kim and Cain (Jeff Hordley) that he’s a Tate, came to the village for revenge and wanted to take all of her money, buy back Home Farm, and leave her with absolutely nothing.

At one point, Caleb seemingly proved he had the ability to go back in time by quoting Kim from the episode where Frank died, when she said: ‘You’re a dinosaur, Frank. And you know what happened to them.’

It turns out Graham Foster was the person who ended up helping Caleb. He explained that after reading about Kim’s re-arrest and then doing a bit of digging, they met up.

Caleb got Graham drunk and soon enough, he was revealing Kim’s darkest secrets.

He explained that they had met up shortly after Kim ordered Graham to get rid of Joe Tate, the person Cain believed he had accidentally killed for ages.

So, after Graham had told Caleb the truth about Frank’s death, he began plotting his revenge.

The problem, though?

Well, it’s all gone catastrophically wrong.

We last saw Caleb walking away from Home Farm, defeated by Kim who had previously warned his dad that she always gets the last word.

She has, for now, but with Claire King telling us that Kim will play the long game to get her own back – this isn’t over yet.
