There are no flies on Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) in Emmerdale – she knows how sadistic Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) operates and realises that the only way to survive is to play a very cleaver game with her sister.

Meena was on the brink of killing her sibling when she woke up and Manpreet quickly and convincingly said that she didn’t remember a thing about the accident or the events preceding it.

Meena eventually appeared to believe her and talked with confidence about how Billy was being so endearing with her.

It seemed that Manpreet was interested and sympathetic to what her sister had to say – feigning a horrified reaction to Meena’s ‘miscarriage’ of a baby Manpreet knows never existed.

Meena came across as satisfied and promised Manpreet that she would look after her.

When Manpreet was alone, her expression changed and it became evident that she remembered everything and was tricking Meena.

When a nurse came through to check on her, he kindly told her not to worry about recollecting memories just now before then talking about how Meena has never left her side.

But Manpreet commented that she remembers more than he realises – and knows exactly what her sister is like.

But can she keep up the ruse from here?

Meena is a top liar and so could sniff one out a mile off so Manpreet has to put on the performance of a lifetime.

Knowing she has to fool Meena until she is well enough to escape and expose her, Manpreet has big challenge.

But is Meena as tricked as she thinks she is? And if so, will it last?

Manpreet is in a very dangerous predicament…
