Emmerdale’s Ross close to death in drugs horror that also puts his son in danger

In tonight’s Emmerdale, Ross Barton is close to death after taking more drugs.

Ross’ substance abuse has gone to the extreme and he finds it hard to cope after another drug-fuelled party.

He struggles to look after Moses while on a comedown, so makes the terrible decision to get back on the cocaine.

Ross is full of energy as he plays football with his son at the pavilion, but soon their day out takes a drastic turn for the worse.

The effect of all his drug taking finally takes its toll and he suddenly collapses to the ground.


Ross is in agony as he clutches his chest in pain and desperately tries to drag himself to Moses.

But the scared youngster runs away and heads off towards the bridge.

Both father and son are left in a perilous situation after his collapse.
