Eve Is Back And Bigger Than Ever In 'Life-Size 2' On December 2

Life-Size 2 finally has a premiere date and it turns out it won’t be long until the sequel is out on Freeform.

Almost 19 years ago, Tyra Banks starred in Life-Size, and it was life-changing. If you played with dolls as a kid, you probably dreamt of them coming to life. We all lived vicariously through Lindsay Lohan, whose character, Casey Stuart, was shocked when her Barbie magically grew into a full-size supermodel and flipped her 14-year-old world upside down.

Nearly two decades later, Life-Size 2 is all about Grace (played by Francia Raisa — the same Francia Raisa who donated a kidney to Selena Gomez), a toy company CEO who is seriously lost. Enter Eve (Banks), who appears right when Grace needs her most and helps her straighten her life out.

Lohan will also appear in the sequel, though the name of her character has not been revealed.

“There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!” Banks told Variety in 2015, when the project was but a whisper. “I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve.”

“One thing is it’s a very precious project to the Disney Channel so they’ve been doing a lot of re-writes and making sure that this script is really right,” the supermodel added at the time. “I’m really excited about it. I think ‘Life-Size’ is so popular that it can be a feature film because it has such a cult following, so I’m really interested to see what the ratings are going to do for that. I think it’s going to be a blockbuster on TV.”

Back then, it was still being considered as a Disney Channel original movie, but Freeform eventually swooped it up. The network announced the sequel was a go in April 2017.

Life-Size 2 is slated to be a part of Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas event following its Kickoff to Christmas schedule in November.

“#LifeSize2 premieres December 2nd!” Banks shared via Instagram on Friday, October 12.‬ “‪Are you ready to shine brighter and farther?”

We are, Tyra! We are!
