Married At First Sight Australia is back with another drama-filled season, with the hit reality TV show making its return on 30 January.

The new series is airing on Channel 9 and 9Now, with UK viewers having to wait a few more weeks until they can catch up. In the meantime we have all of the details of what's been happening on MAFS Australia, and despite only a few episodes airing there's already been drama and scandals.

10 brides and grooms have been paired together by relationship experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla, and they will meet each other for the very first time at the altar.

One marriage which has already been hit with explosive claims is Bronte Schofield and Harrison Boon's, as the pair have both been accused of not being completely honest on the show.

Bronte, 28, was reportedly up to no good during filming and was secretly sending flirty text messages to her ex Todd King, who previously starred on The Bachelorette in 2018, So Dramatic reports. According to an insider close to the show, Bronte will be called out during a dinner party which is set to air soon.

Screenshots obtained by Daily Mail Australia show Bronte and Todd taking brutal swipes and ex-pal Jessica Tomlinson on Instagram, after she "ruined" her and Harrison's wedding by revealing things about his past before the show.

Commenting underneath a photograph of Jessica and Bronte, Todd quipped: "Throwback to happier times," with a crying face emoji.

Bronte then replied: "1 minute silence for all the fallen snakes," and Todd hit back, adding: "Another minute for the postponed air dates," in reference to Channel 10's decision to delay the release of The Bachelors, which Jessica also starred on as a contestant.

"Make sure the mic check's cleared,' Bronte said, and Todd responded: "Famous" friends," with a knife emoji.

Todd has confirmed he and Bronte dated for several months before splitting up in February 2022.

Todd and Bronte's comments come after Monday's premiere of MAFS Australia saw Bronte's best pal Jessica pulled her aside to inform her that her new husband Harrison Boon had been dating one of her close pals just days prior to his TV wedding.

Jessica provided evidence in the form of photos, WhatsApp screenshots and a photograph of an open suitcase, which she claimed to be Harrison's bag he was packing ready for MAFS filming.

Bronte was visibly taken aback by the claims, and responded: "You're lying. If that's true, that's my worst nightmare."

She and Harrison's marriage didn't get off to a great start regardless of the scandals surrounding them both, as a teaser clip shows Bronte crying on their honeymoon after Harrison admits he doesn't feel sexually attracted to her.

Bronte and Harrison aren't the only couple to not get along however, as Claire Normhas and Jesse Burford quickly came to blows on their honeymoon.

Jesse, 30, initially said he had "the ick" over Claire's love for star signs, and also complained she talks too much.

During their honeymoon, the Honesty Box comes out and the pair are forced to ask each other some uncomfortable questions, with Claire, 31, asking: "Based on what you know about me, what is my most annoying trait?"

Jessie bluntly replied: "Would you like an example?" before proceeding to do an impression of her.

Claire soon gets fed up with her new husband and can be seen storming off with her luggage in tow towards the end of the teaser.
