Four couples battling it out to be crowned Love Island 2018 winners

The Love Island 2018 final is upon us – with four couples battling out to be crowned winners.

There’s not just a trophy on the line as the winning couple, as chosen by the British public, have the chance to walk out of the villa with £50,000.

But as this is Love Island it is never that simple and the winners will face a life-changing ‘love or money’ twist.

If the format remains the same as last year, one of the pair will pick an envelope containing the cash and must decide whether to share the money or take it all themselves.

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are the hot favourites to win, with some bookies already paying out on what seems to be a sure-fire bet.

The power couple are the longest lasting in the villa after coupling up on the very first day.

Laura Anderson and Paul Knops are the favourite underdogs looking to cause a surprise upset.

They’ve only been together for two weeks but have gone from strength to strength and fans have loved seeing Laura finally get her man.

Official couple Josh Denzel and Kazimir Crossley are also still in the running to be crowned King and Queen of the villa.

While Wes Nelson and Megan Barton Hanson are outsiders having failed to strike up a chord with the public in previous votes.

Viewers will be treated to a special screening of the wrap party as all the Islanders come together for the very first time.

Caroline Flack will be back hosting as the winners and the not so successful stars give exclusive interviews.

There will also be some awkward run-ins between some of the contestants that didn’t get on.

The explosive live show will air on Sunday 5 August at 9pm on ITV2.
