Gardeners’ World fans were left disappointed when their weekly dose of the BBC show was missing from its scheduled spot. The Monty Don fronted show airs weekly on BBC Two at 9pm but had been pushed back to 9.30pm due to Wimbledon coverage. However, when viewers tuned into watch the programme, Andy Murray’s clash with Denis Shapovalov was still being shown.

One tweeted: “Where is Gardeners’ World?!?!? #GardenersWorld.”

Another remarked: “BBC seem to be not bothered about us #GardenersWorld fans with time changes etc.”

“So not only is #GardenersWorld having to put up with being treated with contempt time wise most weeks it is now just plonked onto #BBC4 @GWandShows,” a third ranted.

Someone else warned: “If you are watching #Wimbledon on BBC Two you need to swap to BBC Four to see Frosty on #GardenersWorld.”
