Holly Willoughby left flustered after Phil Schofield makes This Morning blunder

Holly Willoughby went into hysterics on This Morning today when Phillip Schofield suffered a huge blunder.

Phil, 57 was left flustered as Holly, 38 burst into giggles after the on air mistake.

While introducing the show, Phil began reading the autocue, however he stumbled over his words.

When announcing an Alison Hammond segment, he said: " California's… here she comes…" before trailing off, not knowing what to say.

As Holly laughed, Phil made the excuse: "Sorry I messed that up! I was walking.

He joked: "Award winning this show…"

Later in the show, fans were left gobsmacked after guest Iris, 80, talked about her "rough" sex life with Egyptian toyboy.

Iris was discussing her relationship with her 35-year-old Egyptian toyboy, Mohamed, and she went into a bit too much detail, leaving the presenting red faced.

When Holly asked her about their first night together, Iris said: "Pretty rough… nobody had been near me for 35 years.

"We used a whole tub of KY jelly."

Holly and Phil grew flustered as they fell into fits of laughter.

The feisty pensioner continued to say she had "saddle sore" afterwards.

Fans went into meltdown on Twitter after Iris' admission live on television.

One said: "Whole tube of KY jelly, saddle sore and couldn't walk the next day.. I've nearly fallen off my sofa."

Another added: "Mate this woman on This Morning is cracking me up… "I couldn't walk the next day, we used a whole pot of KY jelly" This Morning.. 80 year old with a 35 year old toyboy, class."
