Hollyoaks airs a frustrating twist in Ollie Morgan’s story tonight (August 9) in the aftermath of his harrowing confession about Buster Smith.
Ollie finally decided to tell his dad Luke about Buster’s control in Wednesday’s first-look episode, but will be left devastated when he realises Luke doesn’t remember.
The Channel 4 soap is currently exploring a sexual abuse storyline, with Buster abusing his position of power to groom schoolboy Ollie.
Having suffered in silence for the last few months, Ollie opened up to Luke last night, having made an unsettling discovery from his new friend Scott.
Horrified to learn that Buster hadn’t been taking pictures of him for Scott’s promotional campaign, a distressed Ollie went home and poured his heart out to a drunk Luke.
Ollie is hopeful that his dad will put a stop to his problems in the wake of their chat, but it quickly becomes clear that Luke has no recollection of their conversation at all.
The spoiler clip above shows a hungover Luke struggling to remember what Ollie told him the night before, leaving the teenager devastated.
Will Ollie have to relive everything from the night before? Or will Luke’s actions leave him feeling more isolated than ever?
Hollyoaks airs on weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4.
