Hollyoaks teen Romeo Quinn makes a sneaky move that would make his long-lost dad James Nightingale proud next week – getting himself off the hook with the police.

Romeo has to do some quick thinking – and fast talking – when he faces possible arrest over the illegal raves that he’s hosting with Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer).

Next week, Romeo is determined to host the biggest and loudest rave yet, but he doesn’t count on it attracting the attention of the authorities.

When police arrive to stop the rave and threaten to haul in the organisers for questioning, Romeo orders Prince and Lily to hide all the money they’ve earned.

Romeo points out that if they’re not making a profit, then the raves aren’t actually illegal – so Prince and Lily spring into action to get rid of the evidence.

Romeo also smugly points out his loophole to the police, and although they shut down the rave, they don’t have any evidence to arrest him thanks to his smart move.

Owen Warner, who plays Romeo, revealed: “It won’t be the first time he’ll have had to deal with the police, so it doesn’t faze him.

“He’s educated himself so that he can be protected by using his knowledge, and beat people who think they’re above him.”

Sadly, Romeo can’t rely on his partner-in-crime to be as smart, as Prince takes a huge risk by burying the rave money in the woods.

Owen laughed: “Romeo will be furious! He has people to pay back, someone who would cause serious harm if they don’t receive their money.”

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Monday (August 13) at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday (August 14) at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
