Home and Away star Penny McNamee is expecting her second child

Home and Away star Penny McNamee has revealed that she’s expecting her second child, after concerns she would no longer be able to conceive.

Penny, who plays Tori Morgan on the Aussie soap, told WHO that she and her husband were feeling “very grateful, blessed and excited” to be welcoming a new addition to the family.

Revealing how she discovered she was pregnant “on the day of the Logie Awards”, Penny went on to explain how significant her second pregnancy was in light of her endometriosis diagnosis.

In a touching Instagram post, the actress acknowledged that their happy news can be “sad and frustrating for others who are struggling to conceive”.

“Our own journey has been one of heartache and disappointment and my hope is that this news brings hope to all my sisters with endometriosis,” she wrote. “That with a diagnosis, surgery and time, you too will be posting some exciting news of your own very soon.”

Penny’s character in Summer Bay is facing a fertility dilemma of her own, as Tori continues to struggle with who to choose as a sperm donor for the baby she so desperately wants.

Will she pluck up to courage to ask Robbo for his help – and will he say yes to being a father?
