STRICTLY is back for another year, and with it comes the famous judges.
But of course, all of these people need to be paid for their time – and some of them do VERY well out of being on the show.
What do the Strictly judges get paid?
Shirley Ballas
Head judge Shirley began on £180k when she joined the show in 2017.
Since then she has negotiated a pay rise, bringing her Strictly salary up to £500,000 per series.
She's also earning money from doing Panto each year.
Her income also comes from teaching at a dance school in Streatham, South London.
Anton Du Beke
Anton du Beke has trebled his wage after replacing Bruno Tonioli on the show’s judging panel.
The Sun understands Anton, 54, is set to bag between £175,000 and £200,000.
That is up from around £65,000 as a pro dancer.
Craig Revel Horwood
Craig has been on the show since it started.
This means he can command a decent salary.
To appear on the show every Saturday, he gets a £200,000 pay packet.
Motsi Mabuse
New recruit Motsi was offered a starting salary of £200,000 when she joined the Strictly judging panel in 2019.
But the German dance school she runs with husband Evgenij Voznyuk also brings in more income for her.
She is the ambassador for the German Weight Watchers.
What do the Strictly contestants get paid?
Unlike other reality and talent shows, the pay is the same for everyone who competes on the show – no matter how famous you are.
Every star taking part receives a standard £25,000 payment, but if they manage to stay on the dancefloor for four weeks this rises to £40,000.
For anyone that makes it to the quarter finals their fee jumps to £60,000.
The five celebs who reach the semi finals will pocket £75,000, with the winner walking away with £100,000 – and the famous glitterball trophy.
Mel C has blasted the fees in the past as being s**t, and admitted she would love to do the show but isn't worth it for the money offered or the amount of attention it brings.
When Will Young quit the show in 2016, he walked away with just £5,000 of his £25,000 fee.
How much do the Strictly professional dancers get paid?
The professional dancers reportedly get paid a flat fee of £50,000 per series, while more seasoned professionals like Anton Du Beke earn about £65,000.
But, some disgruntled dancers don't think it's fair they get paid so much less than the judges when they work harder.
They work up to 14 hours a day training their celebrity partners and are responsible for choreographing the weekly group dances.
