Julia Quinn's 'Bridgerton' books are flying off the shelves
Fans are wild for Bridgerton on Netflix. People reports that some hardcover Bridgerton books are selling for “as much as $768.57, while a collection of the complete paperback series is selling for $200.” People also notes that regular-priced books exist in e-book form or you can wait for more paperback versions. In total, there are eight books in the Bridgerton series, with each focusing on one of the eight siblings in the family. One of the reasons fans love the story is because the books overlap.
The first season of Shonda Rhimes’ series mostly followed Quinn’s first book, The Duke and I. Thus, Season 2 of the Netflix series will likely follow Quinn’s second book, The Viscount Who Loved Me, which follows oldest son Anthony’s search for a wife. Quinn’s third book, An Offer From a Gentleman, is about second-born son Benedict Bridgerton. The fourth book Romancing Mister Bridgerton, follows the charming Colin Bridgerton. Book number five, To Sir Phillip, With Love, focuses on career-minded sister Eloise Bridgerton.
Quinn’s sixth book is all about middle sister Francesca Bridgerton and is titled When He Was Wicked. Book seven, It’s In His Kiss, is about youngest daughter Hyacinth Bridgerton. Finally, the eighth book, On the Way to the Wedding, follows Gregory Bridgerton, the youngest son.
