Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) has started to realise that Sharon (Letitia Dean) isn’t being all that honest in EastEnders, but will he put two and two together and realise that she is trying to murder him?

Sharon has been hellbent on poisoning Ian, as she holds him personally responsible for Dennis Rickman’s (Bleu Landau) demise.

In an effort to cover her tracks, she promised Ian a special meal in tonight’s episode (January 21), informing him that they would consummate their marriage afterwards.

Ian was excited about the night in question, but he was later given cause for concern when he found Sharon with a box of Dennis’ belongings — including his phone.

Sharon once again covered her tracks, as she claimed that the phone was no longer working, and therefore she set about making tea — and poured the deadly drugs into the frying pan.

However, Ian was left startled after he overheard Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) admitting that Phil (Steve McFadden) previously had a conversation with Sharon in a dark corner.

Therefore, he retreated to the bedroom and found Dennis’ phone among Sharon’s belongings.

In spite of Sharon telling him the device was broken, the Queen Vic landlord was able to switch it on — and he was left terrified as a result.

Has he finally worked out that Sharon is trying to kill him?
