Jacqueline Jossa says it's been a 'horrible year' before cheering her girls up with a visit from Santa's elves

JACQUELINE Jossa treated her two daughters Mia and Ella to a special treat from some of Santa's elves after a "horrible year".

The former soap star, 28, took to Instagram to share the visit with her followers and the youngsters absolutely loved it.

Ella, five and Mia, two, had a knock on the door from Pop and Piddle the elves, two helpers who manage to bring a smile to kids' faces.

The elves, who were sent from Elf Express Ltd, put on a show for the girls by singing a range of festive songs that were so loud that everyone on the street could hear them.

As the naughty elves got louder and louder, the two sisters turned around to their parents in shock.

Pop and Piddle also asked Ella and Mia if anyone in the Osborne household had been naughty this year, to which they both replied "no".

Reminiscing on the visit, Jac told her 3.1million followers: "How cute are those videos of when the elves came. Honestly guys, it was like the best Christmassy little experience ever.

"It's been a horrible year for so many reasons but Christmas is Christmas isn't it?

"It was just so lovely. They were brilliant. Like me and Daniel were crying with laughter, like it was even a treat for the adults, it was so funny.

"Just seeing the kids' faces light up, they gave us a Santa cam and they gave us baubles for the tree, lovely treats, it's just so nice and such a nice thing.

"So if you're struggling and thinking about things to do to entertain the kids and make it a little bit special this year, honestly I could not recommend them enough."

The visit from Pop and Piddle was a nice break for Jacqueline considering the former I'm A Celebrity winner recently launched her own mini-me Christmas collection with eldest daughter Ella.

The new range with fashion brand In The Style is called Winter Wonderland and the actress shared some adorable snaps of the collection on Instagram yesterday.

When Jac isn't designing her own clothes, she's busy on stage rehearsing for her West End debut in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol at the Dominion Theatre.

The actress made her first appearance earlier this week as Emily/The Ghost of Christmas Future.

Jacqueline has received rave reviews for her performance after revealing the exciting news of her role in November.

Last month she gave a glimpse of what fans can expect to see from her character in pink and purple period dress made up with a bow on her chest.

The star captioned the pic on Instagram: "Costume vibes. Love her already .. hey Emily. Links in the bio for tickets, come and see us."
