JAMES Argent has admitted that he's "ashamed" he told Gemma Collins she has "more rolls than Greggs".
Arg, 31, split from Gemma, 38, earlier this week and sent a series of vile fat-shaming messages to the reality star – but now he wants to try couples' counselling to repair their damaged relationship.
Arg sent vile messages to the Dancing On Ice star after she called time on their on-off seven-year relationship saying: "You are a fat joke of a woman. An absolute car crash!
Adding: "Who the f*** do you think you are? You’ve got more rolls than Greggs."
Now Arg has admitted the messages were sent in "the heat of the moment" and he regrets fat-shaming her – especially as he's now the heaviest of the pair.
"I’m ashamed of what I said to Gemma – I love her with all my heart," he told OK! magazine, adding: "I have problems with my own weight so I'm the last person who should be trying to fat shame."
He continued: "It's a bit pot, kettle, black as Gemma lost two stone doing Dancing on Ice so I actually weigh more than she does now."
Gemma dumped Arg on the spot after he shared a video of the TV favourite snoring to his Instagram page.
Gemma was left mortified by the post and kicked him out of her Essex home.
But Arg defends the video, saying: "I actually thought she looked really cute and assumed she'd see the funny side!"
That's not how things went down as he reveals when Gemma got home they had a "huge row" and she took his keys and kicked him out.
"I had to go to work so I went out for a few hours and decided to head home afterwards to try and make up with her," he said.
"By the time I got back she’d organised a removal van to take all my clothes and my Vespa back to my mum and dad’s.

"I tried to talk to her but she was so angry that she wasn’t having any of it, she told me it was over and kicked me out."
Arg is now determined to win Gemma back so they can settle down and have children.
"We haven’t spoken about it but I think it would be good for us to have some couples counselling if we do get back together."
