Jeremy Clarkson branded one player a "genius" on Tuesday evening's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire when he sailed through to the £500K mark in the competition.
In the episode, which originally aired in 2019, player Davyth Fear proved he had specialist knowledge in a range of subjects, easily answering questions on everything from geography to history.
He decided to leave the game at the £500,000 mark when a question on famous actresses of the 20th century left him feeling a little uncertain.
Though he bowed out of the million-pound question, Jeremy was massively impressed by his performance, saying: "It has been an enormous pleasure."
Earlier in the game, Jeremy confessed he had "hairs standing up on end" as he watched Davyth answer each of his questions correctly.
Just as he made it to the quarter of a million mark, Jeremy joked: "I'm slightly afraid this machine is going to start gravitating towards you.
"I think your genius is generating gravity."
The former Top Gear host then poked fun at his former co-presenter, Richard Hammond, knocking the TV personality's driving skills.
"£250,000. That's nearly enough to ensure Richard Hammond’s car."
When Davyth made it through to the £500K question, Jeremy heard a loud bump in the audience, and seized the opportunity to crack a joke.
"Somebody’s just fainted. It's okay it wasn’t Davyth – but it might be me in a minute," he remarked.
The all-important question read: "Which of these people was born the same year as Queen Elizabeth II?”
Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland, Julie Andrews and Marilyn Monroe were the four possible answers listed below.
Davyth used his phone-a-friend lifeline to get some advice, but when his friend reckoned the answer was Judy Garland, doubts started to form.

He informed Jezza he wasn't going to gamble, only for the host to reply: "I actually can’t say I blame you. I wish you had gone for it obviously."
Davyth was in luck – the answer he would have chosen of "Audrey Hepburn" was incorrect, as Marilyn Monroe was revealed to be the correct guess.
The chuffed winner informed Jeremy he planned to use his winnings to travel the globe, touring Tanzania and further afield.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire continues next Tuesday at 8pm on ITV.
