Jimmy Carr will show off his amazing new look on Peter Crouch’s Save Our Summer tomorrow night as he opens up about having a hair transplant.
The comedian will join Peter, Maya Jama and Alex Horne on Saturday night’s instalment where he will talk about his decision behind the transformation.
Noticing the change, Maya said to him: ‘It’s a very different look for you.’
‘I tell you what I did, I went and had a hair transplant. I kinda had a look of… like a snooker playing vampire,’ Jimmy replied.
Maya told him: ‘I always called you a vampire.’
Peter then weighed in on the conversation as he said: ‘I said snooker player, she said vampire funnily enough.’
Speaking about his decision to have the procedure done, Jimmy continued: ‘Well you’re both right. So what happened was my hair was socially distancing from my forehead and I’d had enough of it.’
Peter then quizzed: ‘So you genuinely did…?’
He added: ‘I genuinely did. I shaved my head and what they do is take hairs from the back of your head and they put them on the front. Basically I had enough hair, it was just in the wrong place. It was a bit of redistribution.’
Also on the show this week, Melanie C will pop by for a chat where she joins Jimmy in attempting to conduct The Horne Section as they perform a Spice Girls classic.
For this week’s Extreme Retirement Challenge, Peter is on shaky ground as he joins Wayne Bridge to take on tightrope walking.
Jessica Ennis-Hill takes on Max Whitlock in The Sporting Fix and the Black Eyed Peas give an exclusive performance in The Garden Sessions.
Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer will air on Saturday at 9:25pm on BBC One.
