KATIE Price is hoping for a quick sale of her pink Barbie car to raise much needed funds for charity.
The bankrupt 42-year-old, who recently had an operation on her broken feet, is putting her personal pain to one side for the sake of others in a new charitable quest.
Katie is desperate for a new scooter to help her get around following a lengthy operation.
But after being reunited with her eye-catching Barbie motor, her rep exclusively told The Sun Online she is set to sell it off to raise cash for the NHS and charity Supporting Autism.
They confirmed she would be "raffling off" the motor and "giving part as a donation to charities."
They added: "Katie will also buy Harvey a new log cabin for her garden.
"After both Harvey and Katie have being looked after by the amazing surgeons, doctors and NHS nursing teams Katie wants to do even more to give back to those who care for others unconditionally putting their lives and valuable time in front of their own to care for others."
Speaking exclusively to us about her kind-hearted plan, Katie added: "My loved ones are here today thanks to the amazing NHS medical staff that have looked after my mum, Harvey and me.
"I’m not exactly going to be driving my Barbie car anytime soon.
"It's going for a far higher, better purpose that can be shared and for Harvey his own space."
Despite the battered state of her old motor she hopes the novelty value will attract someone to buy it.
Supporting Autism is a cause close to Katie's heart as her eldest Harvey, 18, suffers from autism and Prader-Willi syndrome.
The mum and son have continually showed their support for the NHS during the coronavirus global pandemic and it is clear she wants to give something back with this kind-hearted gesture.
Meanwhile, mum of five Katie has been in “constant agony” since being discharged from hospital over the weekend.
Right now she is relying on new love Carl Woods to carry her round.
But she also wants a scooter to get a sense of self-independence back.
“Katie hates not being able to do stuff for herself,” the source added. “Carl has been amazing. But he can’t carry on being a slave for the next six months!”
Reports today claimed Katie’s battered pink Barbie car has been dumped on her drive — on the orders of her ex-boyfriend.
The motor had been rusting away at Kris Boyson's place for a year.
The Suzuki Vitara, below, with “Barbie” written down the side, has a collapsed roof and needs new wheel arches, tyres and interior restoration.
Kris, 31, and Katie split up at the beginning of the year — and they eventually organised the car's return.
A source said: “Kris's dad, who's been looking after it, told her, 'What's going on? ”Are you going to sort it?'
“It's been lying there for a year gathering dust.
"He got so fed up he told her, 'Sort it yourself'.
“He also had a go at Kris, saying, 'Why is this monstrosity still on my drive? — you're not even going out with her any more'.”
Katie, who is recovering from breaking her feet on holiday in Turkey, arranged for the vehicle's return to her Sussex home.
The horror accident came when she mis-judged the height of a wall as she jumped off it.
She has since undergone a gruelling six-hour operation back in the UK to fix her feet, from which she emerged in floods of tears.
She cut the price of another of her cars, her pink Range Rover, by £10,000 this year. She had vomited in it during a drink-drive arrest last year and was later banned for two years.
