Love Island fans are feeling less than impressed with Paige Thorne after tonight's episode (29 June) which left a sour taste in some viewer's mouths.

During tonight's recoupling (29 June), Ekin-Su stole Davide back, which left Danica to pick Jay and Antigoni with Charlie.

However, earlier in the episode Jay thought he had "closed the door" and made his feelings clear to Danica, but wires were crossed and she chose to couple up with him anyway.

Paige took a distressed Antigoni away to chat in peace, but when Danica asked to speak to her, Paige told Danica that they wanted some alone time.

This didn't sit well with viewers at home who turned to Twitter to voice their concerns.

One said: "I don't like Paige, Gemma or Antigoni. Mean girl behaviour."

Another wrote: "Antigoni and Paige's behaviour towards Danica has been disappointing to witness. Jacques and Paige being in a couple makes a lot more sense."

An opinionated viewer also added: "After seeing her sly and rude behaviour with Danica and Antigoni tonight, Paige deserves all the madness and disrespect from Jacques."

More fans gave their two pence and one even said that Paige and Antigoni reminded them of girls that "say they are nice" but instead display "gross behaviour".

Up until now, many fans had been defending Paige after Jacques turned frosty towards her.

The heart rate challenge rattled a lot of islanders, but especially Paige, who was feeling confused as Jacques' heart rate was raised the most by his ex-girlfriend Gemma Owen.

After the challenge, Jacques picked up Paige and took her over to the day bed.

She tried to confront him about the results but Jacques was having none of it and at one point told her she was being "pathetic" and to "f*** off".

The challenge also caused a rift between Tasha and Andrew, after Tasha failed to raise his heart rate enough.

She was visibly annoyed and when Andrew tried to smooth things over, she stood up and walked away from the conversation.

However, all was later resolved and the couple returned to normal, with Tasha having chosen to stay with Andrew in the latest recoupling.
