Love Island’s Kai urges Sanam to say she loves him in bizarre moment after he cooks her breakfast

Love Island hopeful Kai Fagan insists that Sanam Harrinanan must tell him she loves him in a spoiler for Thursday night’s episode.

Manchester local Kai entered the South African villa on day one and has since struggled to find his perfect match, filling the time in couples with dumped islanders Olivia Hawkins and Tanyel Revan.

But when Sanam strolled onto the scene during Casa Amor, Kai was immediately taken, and arguments ensued with Olivia despite her also choosing to recouple with Maxwell Samuda.

In recent episodes, the PE teacher, 24, and Sanam, 24, have grown closer and were luckily omitted from the potential four-person dumping on Wednesday.

In a spoiler for Thursday’s episode, which will also see Olivia and Maxwell choose another couple to dump in a Love Island first, Kai makes Sanam breakfast in the garden.

“This is so cute, thank you,” Sanam says, to which Kai replies, “You’ve got to tell me that you love me.”

Sanam laughs as she tells him: “That’s not coming out of my mouth anytime soon.”

When Kai questions why, Sanam wonders whether he wants “the L word”, to which he replies, “Yeah, go on.”

“I really, really, like you,” she replies, before adding, “That word is a big word, I feel like I can't say it first unless I know that they have the same feelings.”

Kai then tells Sanam: “It is still early but I know we are on the right path like I said yesterday and I know everything is going to be amazing between us. I’m buzzing to experience everything with you for the rest of our journey here and on the outside.”

The show’s host, Maya Jama, arrived at the beach party in the final moments of Wednesday’s episode to drop a major bomb on the islanders that will no doubt affect the rest of the competition, which is coming to an end soon.

“You all look like you’re having a cute little time, sorry to crash the party, could you all line up in your couples please,” she said. “I’m sure you’re all asking yourselves why I’m here, I’ve got some very important news. The public have been voting for the most compatible couple. The couples with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the Island tonight.”

As the contestants lined up in their couples, Maya revealed that voters had been voting for the most compatible couples, with Olivia and Maxwell receiving the least amount of votes.

Also on the chopping block were Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand, Rosie Seabrook and Casey O’Gorman, and Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga.

Original contestant Olivia said: “Obviously it is sad to leave these guys but I found what I came looking for, so I’m happy to be leaving with him.”

“Olivia and Maxwell are not the only ones leaving. Two more islanders will also be dumped tonight. That decision is not down to the public or your fellow islanders, it’s actually down to you, Olivia and Maxwell,” Maya added, shocking the islanders whose fates are now in the hands of the couple who had previously branded Jessie Wynter fake.
