Love Island's Liberty 'overwhelmed' by fan support that 'means more than cash prize' as she prepares for Jake reunion

LOVE Island's Liberty Poole has thanked her fans for their "overwhelming support" after her shock exit from the villa.

The ITV2 star made a shock exit from the show this week alongside Jake Cornish, just days ahead of the final this Monday.

Despite being together since day one of the show, the couple decided to call time on their romance and will now miss out on the chance to win £50,000.

After finally getting her phone back from producers, 21-year-old Liverty couldn't wait to thank fans for their support.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the former Nandos waitress slipped on a strapless orange dress and glamorous makeup while she sat in front of a large mirror.

The TV star told her followers: "Hi guys, so I’ve got my phone back now, I’m just in the villa.

"I’ll be appearing on After Sun tonight. I can’t even tell you guys how overwhelmed I am by the amount of support that you guys have shown.

"The amount of messages I’ve had saying 'You’ve inspired me', 'You’re my role model', it honestly means more to me than winning any sort of money, or even getting to the final."

Clearly overwhelmed by all of the support she has received, Liberty continued: "The fact that I’ve inspired so many people, honestly that’s what I want to do and continue to do.

Her message comes shortly before she's set to reunite with ex Jake on Love Island: After Sun tonight before Monday's final.
