Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) heads to his old home with his tail between his legs in Emmerdale, ready to speak to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) about holding Reuben’s christening in the pub.
Mack is currently in a relationship with Chloe (Jessie Elland) after having a one-night stand with her and then learning he’s the father of her baby.
The reveal saw Charity throw Mack out, telling him there’s absolutely no way they’d ever get back together.
Recently in the village, Chloe wanted to call off the plans for Reuben’s christening, adamant people wouldn’t attend because of the recent drama.
Mack was able to change her mind and in this new video, he turns his attention to the venue.
Charity lets him know that they can still hold the event in the pub, but can’t help throw a few comments here and there about how Chloe couldn’t ask her and how she always ends up getting what she wants.
Charity stops the jibes and says that she’ll be on her best behaviour, acknowledging that the day will mean a lot to Mack given Reuben’s health problems that occurred when he was first born.
Best behaviour will go out of the window for both Charity and Mack soon, as they give into their feelings and end up sleeping together.
Afterwards, Mack is terrified about the secret getting out and heads to Butlers for some advice from Moira, who slaps him with reality – he’ll lose Reuben if Chloe finds out, so he needs to get his head straight ASAP. He needs to make a choice about who he wants and then do what it takes to make it right…
