Mel Sykes celebrates her 48th birthday in a strapless bikini on holiday in Mallorca

The stunning TV star showed off her age-defying figure in a sexy bikini as she enjoyed a day on the beach.

Mel enjoyed her special day my taking a dip in the idyllic ocean wearing a flower printed two-piece.

The mum-of-two showed off her incredible figure as she cooled off in the sea.

Taking to Instagram she shared the sexy snaps and wrote: "Birthday on the beach yay"

Melanie recently revealed the secret behind her youthful look – yoga.

Last week she took to Instagram to share some pictures of herself taking part in hardcore session.

Posting the pictures on Instagram, Melanie thanked her teacher for the lesson and said she found her “inspiring”.

Mel, who shot to fame in the Boddingtons Beer adverts, added: “Just a few of mine & @jillyjohnson100 ‘s yoga poses from today. She is so flexible and inspiring to practice with.

“Thankyou @tammcgannlifestyle for your guidance.”

Mel took up yoga after injuring her back late last year and is now a devotee.

She told her fans at the time: “It’s physically challenging and at the same time good for my head and I’m getting quite flexible too which is a blessing as I get older.

“Don’t want to seize up!”

Mel tries to work out five days a week, but as a busy mum of two she’s admitted it’s not always easy.

She also said it was harder to stay in shape as she got older, telling Fit And Well Magazine: “I’m still young, but you’ve got to respect that your body is changing, regardless how fit you are, or think you are.”

Earlier this year Mel got tongues wagging when she was spotted on a date with golfer Martin Kaymer.

The Sun Online exclusively revealed how the pair had been seeing each other at the start of 2018.

Mel has been divorced twice and has two teenage sons – Roman, 15, and Valentino Luca, 13, with her actor ex-husband Daniel Caltagirone.
