Molly-Mae Hague reveals her gruesome endometriosis surgery wounds in brave new snap

MOLLY-MAE Hague has revealed her painful endometriosis surgery wounds in a brave new video.

The 22-year-old launched an Instagram Q&A about the condition with a black and white snap taken in hospital after her operation in September.

It shows two incision wounds in her stomach while a cannula is in the back of her hand.

Last month Molly admitted to "struggling" with her body image following the operation.

The Love Island star had been working hard in the gym and watching what she eats but said she "can't see a single change" in her physique.

Opening up to her fans on YouTube, the fashion and beauty influencer admitted she is "very self-critical" and is finding things tough.

"It's the end of another day today. A day that hasn't been the best," Molly said. "But I do think I'm due on my period in a couple of days, so I've been quite emotional.

"I've come to realise I am just generally quite an emotional person.

"I struggled this morning because I woke up and I really felt like I wasn't seeing any progress from the gym and eating clean.

"I think for me, I'm very much a results motivated person. When I see results, it gives me the motivation to carry on.

"For the last couple of weeks, I've really been hitting it hard and I think I had a moment this morning where I just felt like, 'Why am I not seeing a single bit of change in my body'."

Speaking about the affect surgery has had on her body, Molly continued: "I'm very self-critical. I think us girls have a tendency to be very self-critical.

"I know I am, especially since my endometriosis operation. My stomach still hasn't returned back to normal and it's something I've struggled quite a bit with."

Molly initially kept quiet about her operation but decided to tell fans about it in October.

The star said she had not anticipated how "hard" it would be or that the recovery would be such a bumpy road.

Speaking at the time, Molly said: "I've definitely been all over the place these last couple of weeks. I didn't tell anybody, but I had my endometriosis surgery."

She added: "The operation was way way harder to go through than I thought and my recovery time was quite a bit longer than I had planned and I was just a bit of a mess."

Molly later revealed her scar to fans in another video.

She said: "They obviously went in in my belly button as well and lower down, but I don't really think you want to see that."

Molly added: "Not that I have to justify why my stomach isn't extra toned today but yes, that is why."
