LOVE Island star Adam Collard was attacked in a bar while on a night out with sweetheart Paige Thorne.
The pair were enjoying a quiet drink with friends in Adam’s native Newcastle when a group of men spotted them.
They began behaving aggressively toward personal trainer Adam, 26, and even started ripping his top off.
Adam defended himself and one of his mates also leapt in to try and break up the fracas before bouncers raced in to help.
An onlooker told how trouble erupted when revellers at the Market Shaker bar in Newcastle city centre spotted the couple.
She said: “It happened shortly after midnight. Adam and Paige were just on a night, it wasn’t an official appearance or anything.

“Everyone was trying to crowd him and I think they were trying to crowd Paige and Adam wasn’t happy at all which was understandable.
“Then people started to rip his top off and it all kicked off.
“It’s no surprise he wanted to defend himself and was obviously looking out for Paige as well.
“They were just out a drink together with friends and they didn’t need that hassle.

“The bouncers came over and it finally calmed down and Adam and Paige left after that.”
The fracas came shortly after the couple both returned to their day jobs following their appearance on Love Island.
Adam first starred in series four of the ITV2 show in 2018 when Dani Dyer was part of the winning couple.
Producers brought him back for the latest series when he hit it off with paramedic Paige, 24, of Swansea.
She confirmed this week that she and Adam were officially boyfriend and girlfriend following break up rumours.
A spokesman for Adam said of the bar brawl: “Adam was trying to enjoy a quiet night in his hometown with friends when a large group of men began aggressively harassing them.
“Despite several attempts to diffuse the situation, the men continued to become more aggressive and started physically attacking Adam.
