Myles Stephenson is still in hospital 19 days after snowboarding crash left him in intensive care

MYLES Stephenson is STILL in hospital 19 days after a snowboarding crash left him in intensive care.

The Rak-Su singer and I'm a Celeb star suffered a ruptured spleen and cracked ribs last month after an accident while on holiday in Andorra.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the 28-year-old took a selfie from his hospital bed, giving the peace sign as he lay in his medical robe.

He captioned the shot: "19 days later we still here! Home soon though."

Myles has been keeping fans updated on his progress in hospital, revealing last weekend that he'd had a significant amount of blood drained from his lungs.

He said he will undergo physiotherapy and breathing exercises to build his strength back up after suffering the huge hit on the slopes.

Showing fans he is in good humour, Myles put a call out for any movie directors looking to cast a "scruffy man" to get in touch.

Telling fans about his accident last month, he said: "I was involved in a snowboarding accident about a week ago which resulted in me rupturing my spleen breaking, broken ribs and having internal bleeding. This resulted in blood in my lungs.

"That's meds going straight to my jugular artery. That noise is they operated they put an incision through my rib cage just above my lungs made a puncture and just over three days or two days."

"It's drained 950ml of blood which apparently a lot of blood to be in your lungs but we're good. This is a quick message to say thank you to everyone messaging. I've been told everyone's been asking about me."

But Myles had "a bit of a set back" in his recovery after being rushed to hospital.

His mum took to his Instagram account and wrote: "Myles has a bit of a set back today.

"He has a heamothorax and needed a chest drain. He is still thinking of you all and still getting grumpy with his mummy."

The Rak-Su singer suffered a nightmare crash while on holiday at El Pas de la Casa, a ski resort in Andorra near the border with France.

He then told his fans to keep close to their loved ones, saying: "I'm counting my blessings day in, day out. Always tell your loved ones you love them. Peace."

Myles, who found fame appearing on The X Factor and I'm A Celeb, has had a difficult start to the year.

The Sun revealed that he was set upon by thugs on a night out in Essex last month when a brawl "erupted out of nowhere".
