Paul Burrell’s game plan to win I’m A Celeb exposed by expert

Paul Burrell cries as Amir Khan leaves I'm A Celeb

In recent scenes on I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, Paul Burrell broke down in tears when saying goodbye to his fellow campmate Amir Khan.

The former royal butler was also accused by viewers of ‘faking’ his emotions when taking part in a Bushtucker Trial.

However, in a new interview, body language expert Adrianne Carter has hit back at the “fake” claims, explaining Paul’s reactions are “genuine”.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk on behalf of Heart Bingo, Adrianne shared her thoughts on Paul’s emotions.

She began: “Paul’s emotions are very close to the surface which could be interpreted as fake as they are so often seen but I don’t think this is the case.

“Paul has been coming across as a genuinely personable man.

“From the start, he’s been positioning himself to be a paternal leader in the camp.

“He’s a good support to others and he’s always willing to be vulnerable.

“He’s learned to be in touch with his emotions and allows them rather than shut them down like a lot of men do.”

Adrianne went on to suggest Paul’s emotional side could be part of his “game plan” to win the show.

The expert continued: “While this all could be part of a game plan to win the series, it all appears genuine to me rather than faked emotions.

“Paul could be tempted into naughtiness if someone else in camp was naughty.

!He’s got a playful naughty side that’s up for laughs but he has never been cruel or malicious. It would always be harmless naughtiness.”

I’m A Celebrity…South Africa airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV.
