Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan was swiftly shut down by opera singer Katherine Jenkins when she appeared on the festive special of the ITV show.
At the end of the interview, Piers complimented Katherine on her impressive cooking skills as she talked about what she was planning to cook her family on Christmas Day.
She said: "Having two little ones, we work around their nap schedule so we’ll be eating in the early evening.
"I will cook a turkey or rather my husband will. I’m a vegetarian so I’ll have a nut roast but I do all of the trimmings.
"I’m very specific on how the roast potatoes have to be so that’s my department."
Piers replied: "You cook meals regularly don’t you? Little packed lunches and things."
A surprised Katherine responded: "Of course I do, why wouldn’t? I’m a mum."
Piers then took a swipe at his wife Celia as he said: "But I’ve been trying to get my wife to do this for donkey’s years with absolutely no success.
"Do you accept surrogate husbands that you could do them for?"
Singer Katherine, who has been married to Andrew Levitas since 2014, giggled before swiftly shutting down Piers' complaints, as she said: "You’re very lucky with your wife Piers so I don’t think you should be moaning."
Piers quickly backed down as he cheekily said to her : "We both know who’s punching in our relationship."
Susanna couldn't resist chipping in with the conversation as she interjected: "We all know who’s punching Piers Morgan."
Piers and Celia married back in 2010 and share daughter Elise together.
He also has three sons, Spencer, Stanley and Bertie, with his ex-wife Marion Shalloe, who he split from in 2008.
GMB continues on Monday at 6am on ITV.
