Strictly Come Dancing fans have seen sparks fly between Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice as they have found themselves in contention to lift the Glitterball Trophy at the end of the series. As rumours continue to swirl about the pair’s speculated romance, Ranvir once again played down the chat this morning but teased how Giovanni now knew her “better than my own GP” as the two have had to spend lots of time in close contact with each other in training.
Ranvir and Giovanni have slowly crept up the leaderboard as they’ve continued to impress the judging panel.
Last weekend, the duo performed the first Argentine Tango of the series, known for being a particularly passionate dance.
And the pair sizzled on the dance floor in a routine which saw the pair awarded 10 points by stand-in judge, Anton Du Beke.
The partnership has also made the headlines for their close bond and “chemistry” which has been picked up on by the judges throughout their stint so far.
Today, Ranvir quashed the rumours yet again when speaking to her ITV co-star, Lorraine Kelly.
Appearing on Lorraine’s mid-morning show, the host quizzed her on being “so close” to Giovanni when training.
Lorraine asked: “You’re so close to somebody, was that not really weird?”
Ranvir continued: “I can’t actually tell you the kind of words he actually uses to go, ‘Right, the way it needs to be feel, this bit needs to be there, that bit needs to be here.'”
She said she told her dance partner: “You know me better than my own GP now! I’m not even joking.”
“I suppose just becomes another part of your body?” Lorraine quizzed.
“Now, I don’t even notice it anymore… it is so funny,” Ranvir added, “It is a very unusual experience to be that close to someone.”
“But I’m coping, Lorraine!” the news reporter cheekily remarked.

Ranvir revealed the interesting reason why she likes performing later on in the programme.
Usually, stars speak of their wish to get their routines over and done with as soon as possible into the show as the nerves creep in.
This then allows them to watch their fellow celebrities perform without fear of their own looming routines.
But the GMB host said: “Interestingly, I like going a bit later on in the show.
“Because, Lorraine, it allows me to get into character, have you heard me these days?” Ranvir commented.
And reflecting on her performance last Saturday, Lorraine said: “Crikey, you got into character, that was absolutely sizzling.
“I mean it really, really was, you playing the part of this amazingly… I mean you are, an amazingly sexy woman,” complimented Lorraine.
Ranvir insisted she was “playing a part” but Lorraine concluded: “I’ve always said this, how brilliant you are and how beautiful there and maybe, just maybe, the confidence you should have is coming out.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday at 7:15pm on BBC One.
