Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice first introduced her new boyfriend to the world back in November 2020. Since then, Giudice and her man, Luis Ruelas, have been nearly inseparable, taking various trips together and posting plenty of photos. And Giudice recently told her man how “happy” she is that he came into her life.

Teresa and Joe’s marriage had shown cracks for years before the two finally decided to divorce. The couple filed for bankruptcy back in 2009, which added stress to their marriage. Later, in 2012, there were rumors of infidelity that were highlighted on the show. Joe’s possible infidelity was discussed frequently throughout the show, but Teresa revealed on the season 10 reunion that because she had never caught Joe cheating, she never acted on the rumors.
Then, in 2013, Teresa and Joe were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud, and bank fraud. Teresa spent the better part of 2015 in prison, and her husband then spent more than three years there after her. A judge ruled that Joe be deported to his home country of Italy, and eventually, Teresa filed for divorce. The two finalized their divorce in Sept. 2020.
Giudice said she’s ‘so happy’ that Ruelas came into her life
Not long after Teresa and Joe’s divorce was finalized, a new man came into the RHONJ star’s life. Teresa was rumored to have been involved with a few men while Joe was in Italy, though she denied anything of the sort. But in Nov. 2020, Teresa introduced her boyfriend, Luis Ruelas, to the world.
The two are reportedly taking their relationship slow, though they’ve been inseparable since they made their relationship public. Luis posted a photo with Giudice in late January, and she left a comment showing her true feelings toward her new man. “So happy you came into my life,” she wrote, with two heart emojis.
Teresa and Luis, who goes by Louie, according to his Instagram account, have been going on adventures since they began dating. The couple spent time at the beach and took a hike near the Hollywood sign recently, though they might be in for even more adventures together once the pandemic ends.
It’s unclear how Giudice’s kids feel about her new relationship
Teresa’s kids haven’t commented on their mom’s new relationship — at least not publicly. Despite that she has posted several photos with her new boyfriend, her daughters haven’t been flooding the comments section.
It’s too early to tell how they feel, but they’re likely happy to see their mom happy. Teresa said the kids understood why she and their father had to split up, and Joe has reportedly moved on to a new woman as well. Plus, Teresa’s friends seem thrilled for her new romance, so we can only hope her kids are, too.
