Sam Faiers reveals she’s friends again with Ferne McCann as she finally opens up on truth behind year-long feud

In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, The Mummy Diaries star says they ended their year-long fall out at Sam's sister Billie's bridal shower.

The Towie co-stars famously fell out despite being friends since they were kids and having baby girls just weeks apart.

But now Sam and Ferne, both 27, have put their bad blood behind them once and for all.

Speaking for the first time to The Sun Online's Big Interview about the heartbreaking situation, which was rumoured to be over Ferne's relationship with now-jailed acid attack thug Arthur Collins, Sam confessed: "Look to be honest, over the last couple of years, Ferne and I hadn't seen eye to eye on a number of things."

While reluctant to say anything specifically about Arthur or the reasons for the row, Sam adds: "Sometimes as friends you do just drift apart."

She added: "I'm in Hertfordshire with my family, she is doing her thing with her family now. There was never a big argument – just drifted apart. "

The fall out was also rumoured to be over Ferne having a rival TV show about motherhood, and earlier this year, Ferne confirmed it, saying: "We fell out because I went ahead and filmed for this show."

But now Sam says they had a heart to heart at her sister's bridal shower and cleared the air.

She said: "We were both at my sister's bridal shower – Ferne was there. It was fine. It was nice. We were just catching up on the babies really. So we are fine."

Sam, who is celebrating her hit reality show The Mummy Diaries going into it's fourth season, has made it very clear on the show that she's waiting on a proposal from boyfriend Paul Knightley.

But she denies there's a deadline for him to go down on one knee.

The couple of three years already have adorable tots Paul, two, and seven-month-old Rosie together.

She said: "We live together, got kids together, got a business together. You know what, we will get married, and I can't wait for that day. But we are just so happy with what we've got right now.

"But it will happen. There's no deadline.

She added: "I really wouldn't want him to propose on camera. I definitely don't want it filmed – some things you can keep for yourself."

Speaking of her dream wedding, the reality TV queen said: "I want it to be abroad. I don't want to get married here in the UK.

"I want to be somewhere in Europe, I think. I want like a nice beach setting and I want it really small and intimate. I don't want a big wedding."

Sam is already broody for more children, although she admits the challenges of being a mum.

She says: "100 percent I want more babies. Right now I've just got to grips with another baby, that wasn't easy. 1 to 2 was hard. I'm just getting back into swing of things so I'll probably wait until little Paul is in school – about 4, and then I definitely want 2 or 3 more. I'd love to have a big family."

She adds that filming the show with two kids can be tough, saying: "Sometimes you wake up and you think, I don't feel like putting make-up on today… or being happy.

"It's quite rare as I'm quite laid back and easy going. But as mums we all have those days."

Speaking about her body, she said: "I think there's so much pressure for mums to snap back quickly.

"Everyone was saying breastfeeding will help you loose weight –  but it didn't with me with Rosie, and I'm still breast feeding her now. But everybody is different, and there's so much pressure."

Now Sam has a personal trainer three times a week at home, so she can work out before the kids wake up.

She said: "My jeans fit me again, they didn't fit three weeks ago. They're a size 8-10 and three weeks ago, I couldn't even get them over my knees. "

Sam, who is already juggling successful online fashion business All Bits London and her new pram and high chair range in Mothercare, is already planning on taking her brand overseas.

"I've always wanted to go to America. I'm about to design my own homecare range too – bedding, and soft furnishings. I'd love to get it over to the US. I'm willing to work at it."
