Sir Bruce Forsyth left another £5.6MILLION for his wife in unchecked company account

The 89-year-old veteran game show host had left the cash sitting in his showbiz promotions company's account for months.

His wife Lady Wilnelia took control of Bruce Forsyth Promotions a month before he died in August last year, the Daily Star reported.

The Strictly Come Dancing star left nearly £11.5million of his fortune for the 60-year-old former Miss World – but not a penny for his six children.

He is thought to have arranged his will in a bid to avoid inheritance tax, which he once described as “a bit over the top”.

A 40% levy would have been due on any amount over £325,000 which Sir Bruce did not leave to charity or Lady Forsyth-Johnson, who he married in 1983.

The entertainer, whose showbiz career spanned more than 75 years, reportedly left £100,000 in a trust for his nine grandchildren, who will split the cash when they turn 21.

He also set aside £40,000 to be split between the two executors of his estate, it was reported last year.

The rest of Sir Bruce’s £11.7million estate went to his widow, who was crowned Miss World in 1975.

Sir Bruce’s son and five daughters were said to be with him when he passed away peacefully aged 89 last August.

He once said: “I think your inheritance should go to your children more than back to the country you’ve lived in.”

A spokesman for his estate declined to comment on the details but said: “All I would say is that I think 99.9% of married people would do this.”
