Sick, corrupt detective DI Malone (Mark Womack) is determined to have his revenge on Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) after she defied him and reported his menacing and illegal behaviour to the police in Emmerdale.
Crushed after learning that he was having an affair with Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and could destroy her relationship with Will (Dean Andrews), Dawn ignored threats from Malone as he tried to threaten and intimidate her.
She went to the police and reported Malone, but was left unnerved to be told that it would be looked into – but until then, Malone remained at large.
And it wasn’t long until he caught up with her in the village, already aware that she had been talking about him.
Dawn yet again ignored his threats as he ordered her inside the house where he wanted to sort things out – until he mentioned Lucas and warned her that if she ever wanted to see him again, she would comply.
Dawn was terrified to realise that Lucas is in Malone’s clutches and he told her that he hadn’t wanted it to come this as he grimly led her into the cottage.
There, he plans to tempt her with heroin and even encourage her to take his own life – with actor Mark warning Metro.co.uk that Malone is very prepared to kill Dawn to get out of trouble.
But how will the showdown play out as the stakes have never been higher?
