As the fallout from New Year’s Eve continues to affect the characters of EastEnders in different ways, could one character be about to leave Albert Square for good?

Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra) has had more on her mind than most recently. With a far-right gang stirring up Islamophobic hatred in Walford, Muslims like Iqra and Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) have been threatened and the gang have escalated their acts of violence.

It’s no wonder that Iqra has been having thoughts about leaving the area.

As she and Bobby continue their campaign for the new Mosque, Iqra tells him that her new job wants her to start soon, but she’s worried about leaving Walford.

Bobby reassures her that she’ll be fine, and that Mila (Ruhtxjiaïh Bèllènéa) and Kioni (Florisa Kamara) will soon be joining her.

With Bobby’s reassurance, could Iqra be ready to pack her bags and leave the Square?

Will she leave to start afresh if Aaron’s (Charlie Wernham) gang continue to stir up trouble?

Or could she stay, determined to stick up for her community?
