James Bailey (Nathan Graham) and Danny Tomlinson’s (Dylan Brady) attempt at restarting their relationship in Coronation Street hasn’t gone as well as they hoped as soon, it appears things will change.

When the footballer first arrived in Weatherfield, he was hiding his sexuality from his loved ones and was terrified to tell his dad Ed (Trevor Michael Georges).

After Ed discovered James is gay, moving scenes saw him accept his son for who he is, saying he’ll always love him no matter what.

Recently, James was at the centre of another huge storyline that saw him publicly come out as gay during a football press conference.

James and Danny’s kiss on the cobbles was also the soap’s first non-socially distanced kiss since the pandemic began.

Coming up, Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) takes James to one side and urges him to have a word with Danny about turning down the job offer.

After a lot of debating, James eventually urges Danny to follow his dream and accept the job in London.

But what will Danny decide?

Will he leave Weatherfield and his relationship?

Or could the two of them start a long distance relationship?
